Classification: Sales Assistant
Compensation: $14.25 to $16.50 hourly

A Greenville, South Carolina based company has hired Robert Half to help them find a Sales Assistant for a short-term contract / temporary to hire position at their firm.
Major responsibilities
- Assisting sales teams with administrative, technical and clerical tasks
- Producing sales reports and preparing presentations
- Supporting efforts to coordinate orders and ensuring completion of process
- Conducting and coordinating internal training courses
- Supporting the sales department with the promotion of company products and services
- Providing customer service in a kind and professional manner
- Handling additional Sales Assistant-related duties as assigned
- Making arrangements related to travel and meetings
- Supporting and participating in trade shows and conventions
- Preparing communications and proofreading documents- BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field recommended
- Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required
- Knowledge of Contract Renewals
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
- Superb social skills, experience with project coordination, and capable of working well with staff at all levels and outside clients and vendors
- Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
- 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred
