Summary:
- The team operates within the GCS (sales and support for small and medium sized advertisers) space developing internal tools and infrastructure to support our sales operations and users.
- This pod is specifically focused on creating and maintaining tools to support our global vendor operations.
Responsibilities:
- This position involves triaging tickets/requests which require engineering intervention, troubleshooting them using SQL queries and internal tools, and identifying/implementing the possible steps to resolve (i.e. bulk data uploads or correcting erroneous records).
- Candidates should be comfortable writing SQL queries and communicating with stakeholders to request additional information and explain policies and options to resolution.
- There is also opportunity to develop small features so experience with JavaScript and/or Java is a plus.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets/requests that require engineering intervention.
- Debugging and implementing fixes for issues relating to application UI, workflows, and integrations.
- Developing features and workflow components to improve application.
Qualifications:
- BA or in lieu of degree, relevant work experience.
- Minimum 3 years+ (would consider less depending on work experience)
- Some proficiency with SQL (at least 2-year experience)
- Scripting language experience (Python, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby. Python and JavaScript is preferred.)
- Written communication
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
Desired:
- Experience working with Angular and be able to make small updates where necessary.
- Effectively handle tickets from start to finish, working with stakeholders and team where necessary and designing/implementing the solution.
- Java experience
- Workflow design
