Classification: Billing Clerk
Compensation: $20.90 to $24.20 hourly
Robert Half is looking for a methodical and well-organized Billing Clerk who has demonstrated an eye for detail. This Billing Clerk opening is with an organization in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. - Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data consistency and excellence
- Gauge billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary
- Establish financial controls and procedures
- Review, process, and evaluate bills or invoices for services rendered- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
- Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Complex Databases experience preferred
- Complex Datasets experience
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Well-founded grasp of Excel Formulas
- Comprehensive knowledge of Complex Calculations
- General familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- HealthCare Revenue Cycle experience
- Complex Calculations experience preferred
- Proven knowledge of analysis
- Efficient in spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
