Sirius Staffing is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Allentown, PA. Candidates must be local and willing to travel on a regular basis. Details below:

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Anticipated duration: Minimum of 3 to 6 months, up to one year (or longer)
  • BS in Chemical Engineering (required)
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in process engineering including process design, process optimization, and support of production processes (required)
  • Knowledge and experience with process simulation (Aspen Engineering Suite) and engineering applications (Comos FEED, SmartPlant P&ID) is preferred but not required
  • Based in Allentown, PA.
  • Must have capability of working from home office (on-site presence at Mobile Site to be expected and required in near-term to medium-term)
  • Willing and able to travel up to 100 percent of time (25 to 75 percent expected)

Duties

  • Provide process engineering support to production and operations
  • Support conceptual (FEL 2 leading to +/- 25 percent estimate), basic (FEL 3 leading to +/- 10 percent cost estimate), and detailed engineering phases as well as construction and commissioning during investment projects
  • Prepare process engineering deliverables for investment projects (e.g., PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment Specifications)
  • Act in assigned roles within capital investment projects (e.g., Process Engineer)

  • Provide process engineering support to manufacturing process
  • Develop tooling to support the manufacturing process
