As a Software development and process engineering you will:
- Work with team to Improve Software Development Process and bring up to ASPICE Level-X
- Assure Software Development Process aligns with ISO-26262
- Develop In-house Software Requirements and Design Verification Plans
- Develop unit test for functions within the higher-level model
- Generate Software "C" Code via Model Based Code Generator
- Perform Static Code Verification and Analysis to verify software standards (e.g. MISRA-C) are achieved
- Development Automated testing to improve engineering efficiency
- Support Testing on Bench/HIL
- Innovate and Develop new processes and tools to improve efficiency
- Co-Develop vehicle motion control features through Model Based Design
- Good Communication Skills
- Work well within a team
- Good Time Management
- Poficiency with Matlab/Simulink software tools
- Proficiency with C/C++
- Knowledge of an automated requirement managemetSystem (Doors, Polarian)
- Experience with imbedded C/C++ applications
- Knowledge of an Automated test tool– BCD
- Knowledge of Model Examiner (MXAM)
- 2+ years experience with Matlab/Simulink software tools
- 2+ years experience developing software requirements
- 2+ years Experience developing software following an ASPICE Certified Process that aligns with ISO26262
Experience Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in engineering role for Chassis systems (e.g. Steering, Brakes, Suspension, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience with Software Configuration Management Systems (e.g. GitHub)
- 3+ years of experience with ASPICE
- 3+ years of experience applying ISO26262 Part 6 to Software Development
- 3+ years of experience developing and executing component test plans
- 2+ years of experience applying Systems Engineering
- 2+ years of experience applying project management
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field
Education Preferred:
- Master's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
