Airswift is seeking candidates for the position of Sr. Process Engineer to work at our chemical client's site in Mobile, Alabama.
Description:
- Support conceptual (FEL 2 leading to +/- 25 percent estimate), basic (FEL 3 leading to +/- 10 percent cost estimate), and detailed engineering phases as well as construction and commissioning during investment projects
- Prepare process engineering deliverables for investment projects (e.g., PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment Specifications)
- Act in assigned roles within capital investment projects (e.g., Process Engineer)
Requirements:
- BS in Chemical Engineering (required)
- 5 to 10 years of experience in process engineering including process design, process optimization, and support of production processes (required)
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with proof of vaccination
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge and experience with process simulation (Aspen Engineering Suite) and engineering applications (Comos FEED, SmartPlant P&ID) is preferred but not required
Travel expectations:
- Willing and able to travel up to 100 percent of time (25 to 75 percent expected)
- Provide process engineering support to production and operations
- Anticipated duration: Minimum of 3 to 6 months, up to one year (or longer)
- Location: Based in Mobile, AL. Expectation is to work on-site, as well as work from home and travel as needed to other client sites.
