Large, reputable company searching for a supply management materials operations purchasing analyst!
Responsibilities:* Communicating directly with Suppliers to enable them as users within the Purchase to Pay system.
* Working directly with Procurement Buyers to complete transactional activities related to supplier activation and communication.
* Provide support to procurement and master data associates
Requirements:
* A basic understanding of Procure to Pay processes and procedures is preferred. Must be innovative and be able to recognize implications of improvements across the functional areas.
* Dependability and reliability are essential.
* Extensive personal computer/mainframe knowledge, plus the ability to use such applications as word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and electronic mail is required.
* The incumbent must possess analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to independently set priorities with limited supervision.
* Individuals must work efficiently and accurately in a teamwork atmosphere. The ability to work while under pressure and meet scheduled deadlines is a necessity.
* French, German, Spanish, Portuguese languages a plus.
