Title: Supply Planner
Contract length: 18 Months
Pay Range: $55,000-$58,000/yr
Remote for now but will need to be onsite in the future. Must be able to commute to Englewood Cliffs, NJ
Job Description:
The Supply Planning & Transformation Analyst role will be responsible for the execution of tea blend and finished good production planning within the new ~$400MM tea business. Our tea business has recently been separated into its own business division. The new tea company is now given more autonomy to reimaging our systems and ways of working but also our supply chain itself. As such our supply planning team is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and innovative in their approach to supply chains.
What Will You Do:
The individual responsibilities will split time between two activities: supply planning and transformation project work. Supply planning will be about half your time. The other half will be driving transformation projects regarding sourcing location transitions and developing improvements to our operations. The person will be involved with both our newer more dynamic growth brands (Tazo & Pukka) and also the market leading Lipton tea portfolio.
As a supply planning team member, you will contribute to delivering on the following key metrics:
- Customer Service Performance
- Inventory level optimization
- Optimization and analysis of factory
- Gross Margin improvement
- Business waste reduction

Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Driving planning process improvement projects
- Operational support for large strategic supply chain transformations
- Working with experts to guide them in building tools to automate operational tasks
- Using your data skills to build new data reporting for our new organization. Create tracking mechanisms for performance & communicate the KPIs, where relevant, to manage cross functional stakeholders & improvement initiatives.
- Partner with supply units to determine the best run strategy for the factories and proactively manage the capacity planning to meet demand with the right inventory and timing.
- Root cause & create action plans for the customer service losses. Effectively communicate & align expectations on the future facing risks to service with Demand Planning, Customer Service & leadership teams
- Proactively manage & align cross functional actions to minimize waste
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure interrupted material supply for factories & provide insights based on demand changes.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor Degree. Engineering, Logistics, Operations Planning, Supply Chain or other analytical fields preferred.
- Supply chain related experience - preferably in supply planning
- A highly developed set of skills in quantification and analysis
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Experience with process automation is a plus
- Familiarity with development of Excel Macros, PowerBI & Tablaeu or other analytical & data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
