Warehouse Associate at Staffmark

Warehouse Associate Summary:

  • Receive incoming product on pallets, sort according to item type - stock numbers,
  • place boxed items on pallets and place pallets of product in the appropriate aisle and storage rack.
  • Transfer palletized stock from the warehouse staging area into trucks for delivery to customers.
  • Practice proper manual materials handling practices: follow good body mechanics when bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and carrying.
  • Follow warehouse Standard Operating Procedures: Appropriate stock documentation and labels.
  • Review shipping/receiving orders entering information into the computer database.
  • Sort and verify orders for accuracy.
  • Transfer palletized merchandise to appropriate warehouse stocking locations Ability to lift items weighing up to 25lbs lifting boxed and unboxed items, packaging tape, and pallet wrapping equipment.
