Warehouse Associate Summary:
- Receive incoming product on pallets, sort according to item type - stock numbers,
- place boxed items on pallets and place pallets of product in the appropriate aisle and storage rack.
- Transfer palletized stock from the warehouse staging area into trucks for delivery to customers.
- Practice proper manual materials handling practices: follow good body mechanics when bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and carrying.
- Follow warehouse Standard Operating Procedures: Appropriate stock documentation and labels.
- Review shipping/receiving orders entering information into the computer database.
- Sort and verify orders for accuracy.
- Transfer palletized merchandise to appropriate warehouse stocking locations Ability to lift items weighing up to 25lbs lifting boxed and unboxed items, packaging tape, and pallet wrapping equipment.
