Staffmark is hiring picking, packing, shipping, returns associates, and cherry picker operators for a well known company in Groveport. You will be handling books and other educational materials. This is a phenomenal temp to hire opportunity where you can get on with a great company and participate in their low cost benefit packages.
Packing shift is Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm $16.50/hour
Picking shift is Monday - Friday 7am until finish $17.25/hour
Shipping Associate shift is Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm $17.25/hour
Returns shift is Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pm $17.25/hour
Cherry Pickers Monday-Friday 6am-Finish $19.00/hour
Shifts could have overtime during week or on Saturdays as needed
As a packing associate you will:
- Read and follow directions to know what goes in each kit ordered.
- Gather materials needed and set up area.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Working in a fast paced environment quickly and accurately!
- Pack all materials required accurately and carefully.
- Alert supervisor to any issues or problems.
- Stand, twist, bend, and lift throughout shift.
As a picking associate you will:
- Gather materials needed and set up area in first hour (some heavier lifting during this set up hour).
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Working in a fast paced environment quickly and accurately
- Pick loose books to accurately fill orders
- Utilize RF scan gun and voice pick device
- Alert supervisor to any issues or problems
- Stand, twist, bend, and lift throughout shift
Return Associates:
- Re-box, relabel, scan, and put away returned books
- Some heavy lifting (minimal)
Shipping Associates:
- Lifting, sorting, stacking and wrapping cases of books
- repetitive lifting of up to 50 pound is required
Cherry Picker Operators:
- Must have at least 6-12 months experience on the cherry picker
- Must be comfortable with heights of 40-50 feet
- You will be picking cases of books
